Experience
Anthony James Blaza holds degrees in Building Engineering/Management and Building Surveying and is both a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Builder. He has 30+ years’ experience in the following sectors:
Construction Company – Site Engineer
Architects Practice – carrying out Design and Contract Administration
Chartered Building Surveyors Practice – undertaking Structural Surveys, Design and Contract Administration.
He has considerable and varied experience in his field of expertise including building defect diagnosis, architecture/engineering, building design, fire risk assessment and project management.
Dianne Lee

Experience
Dianne joined the company in September 1998, to manage the administrative and financial side of the business.
After leaving school she attended The North of England Higher Secretarial College, a private Pitman College in Leeds, where she gained excellent qualifications in all aspects of business administration,
before starting her first job as a Clerk Typist at a Technology College in the city.
Following a move to Pontefract in 1986 she worked for an Architect and a local Building Company before joining the Practice. She was appointed Company Secretary when the firm went Limited in 2001.
Dianne is responsible for general administration and finance. She is also the primary contact for information and arranging Building Surveys and will probably be your first point of contact when telephoning or visiting the office.
Matthew Chapman

Experience
Mathew joined the Company in May 2010 as an Architectural Technologist. He attended Bradford & Ilkley Community College studying for an ONC in Building Studies. In 1995 he graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a BSc(Hons) in Architectural Technology.
Mathew has previously worked on retail projects for Asda Stores plc as Lead Technologist and Project Leader. He also has experience in the commercial and leisure sector and also education.
He has also held the position of CAD/IT Manager for a previous employer.
Mathew is responsible for site surveying, production of Planning, Building Regulations and detailed design drawings, project management and fire risk assessment.
Tracy Boardman

Experience
Tracy began her career in architectural practice in 1987 and brings nearly 40 years of experience across residential, education, retail and commercial sectors.
For 23 years she ran her own architectural practice, delivering projects from early design stages through to completion on site. Her work included planning applications, Building Regulations approvals, detailed technical drawings and site inspections. Alongside residential schemes, she undertook commercial surveys, condition reports and fire separation surveys for retail premises.
Earlier in her career, Tracy worked within established UK practices on a wide range of projects including listed building refurbishments, church reordering schemes, school extensions and new-build schools delivered under PPP programmes, new supermarket developments, retail fitouts and modernisation programmes. She gained experience in detailing, specification writing, tender documentation and on-site coordination.
She also spent several years working in New Zealand, gaining experience of a different planning and building control system.
Tracy takes a structured and detail-oriented approach, with strength in resolving technical issues and coordinating consultants to ensure projects are well considered and deliverable. She has a professional interest in energy-efficient construction and sustainable design principles, including Passive House methodologies.
Tracy maintains an active programme of Continuing Professional Development and is currently progressing towards RICS accreditation.
